Best country to live in in the European Union?

As the UK is in the European Union, I could potentially move to any other country in the EU right?
Was just curious, if I was to move from the UK, which country do you guys think has the best living? Do you think different countries would suit certain qualifications better than others?

Just curious as the other day I saw the top 25 places to live in the world and the UK came 25th and has generally gotten into a bad stateover the last few years. Places such as Lithuania came above the UK when Lithuanians immigrate to the UK in search of a ‘better life’ =/.
I totally agree with about UK being best place to live for immigrants. It makes me sad ):

My suggestion is settling in Denmark (or some other Scandinavian country).

having a nice sprinkler system around your house
that mists and keeps all the planted ground covers green
will get rid of alot of this sempiternal chore.
..no dirt areas that you have to walk thru to go in the house helps 1000 fold.
Giant mint patches and rosemary bushes under windows around
i think help as well as any entry areas having no open dirt patches close.

but you know Mrs Fish,
dust isnt Particular,

its ubiquitous.

i’m a senior in high school and i live in a small city in Michigan. In the next year i am moving out of state and i want to move to a big city.
I concidered California (san francisco or fresno) but people in cali are supposed to be very into their looks and stuff like that…
what is the best part of the country to live in and do you have any suggestions so i can research a city? thanks i dont mean to offend anyone who lives in Cali, it’s just something i’ve heard

So what country out of the USA and the UK would you like to live in and why ?

don’t be rude ull embrass yourself. and im asking because i find it interesting i do not have an opinion on the matter also try not to be biased or to patriotic, about it see it as a fair debate because only then i can recieve legitimate answears thankyou.

I can’t help but be biased, the UK is by far the better (but smaller) country. Americans are too full of themselves for my liking, their food is even more plastic than in the Uk, they have a very limited world view and i’m afraid it would drive me mad, but worse of all is their humour, they can’t even spell it. Sorry but no contest, UK for me all the way.

Isn’t it against the teachings of the Koran for Muslims to live in a country with a central bank that collects?

I live in the USA but I want to move to Europe what is the best country in Europe to live in for Americans?

If you want a nice fresh air to wake up to everyday and see the mountains you should move to Austria. If you like shopping move to Italy, like Milan the shopping capital of the world. Hope you like soccer because that’s what Europeans mostly play Those are just a few ideas. I’m European and I’ve been to all the counties in Europe. Hope this helps

If I wanted to move to Europe, which country would be the best for me to live in? Talking about standard of living and life in general.

I need to start all over, so I do need some advice here.

I’m Serb and I would say Austria! It’ very well organized, pretty, ecological, full of history. Not bad weather too, and practically in the heart of Europe.
